Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related science with CAHEA-approved clinical program.
• Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science by a recognized certifying agency.
• Two years clinical laboratory experience with at least one year in the specific department.
• Completion of accredited clinical program and certification prior to 1963 with two years current clinical laboratory experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in biological/chemical/medical science with Clinical Laboratory Specialist certification and two years experience in the department.
• Histocompatibility Technologist AND Histocompatibility Specialist ABHI certification with five years experience.
• Commitment to exceptional initiative, efficiency and competency in lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Laboratory Manager to ensure timely and accurate test results in compliance with accreditation and reimbursement standards.
• Oversee various technical activities in the Clinical Laboratories.
• Collaborate with staff to organize work, set priorities and improve processes.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or appropriate biological/chemical science

CAHEA approved clinical program

Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science

Two years clinical laboratory experience with at least one year in the specific department

Certification prior to 1963 with two years current clinical laboratory experience

Clinical Laboratory Specialist certification with two years experience

Histocompatibility Technologist and Histocompatibility Specialist ABHI
