Job summary

Eurofins Viracor LLC is seeking a Laboratory Specimen Processor to perform accessioning and high-efficiency data entry. The role requires handling specimens, ensuring accurate labeling, and maintaining storage materials and associated records.

Level I responsibilities include using LIMS, adhering to SOPs, and supporting lab projects, with growth opportunities to Level II/III leadership over time.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Specimen processing in a Clinical Laboratory setting or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable with raw specimen handling.
• Typing to 30 words per minute will be tested during interview.
• Ability to read, interpret SOPs and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Accessioning and data entry with high proficiency.
• Examine samples for accuracy (type, stability, volume).
• Label samples for delivery to appropriate areas.
• Use and maintain sample storage materials (e.g., dry ice).
• Resolve patient demographic issues or discrepancies.
• Maintain quality control/quality assurance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Communicate with lab associates to complete daily activities.
