Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Lab Design & Audit Specialist to perform site audits of CBS spaces and infrastructure, ensuring compliance and efficient space use. You will capture data in Smartsheet, Sheets, and AutoCAD, supporting occupancy planning and lab moves.

The role requires 4–5 years in design/audit environments, a Bachelor’s in architecture or interior design, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Google Workspace, PlanGrid, and CAFM systems.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in design or auditing environments such as data centers, hospitals, pharma or similar.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site audits of CBS spaces, equipment, and infrastructure to support compliance and space governance.
• Capture and translate data in Smartsheet, Google Sheets, Lab infra databases, AutoCAD, and Google Slides.
• Glean layout data, finishes, dimensions, equipment, and occupancy for REWS and occupancy planning.
• Create post-audit documents for labs and customized spaces.
• Collaborate with Lab Planning and other teams to ensure governance and quality checks.
• Maintain relationships with Lab Ops and key stakeholders to secure audit approvals.
• Log activities in trackers and reporting tools; ensure data accuracy for space and allocation.
• Maintain up-to-date drawings and CAFM records and generate space reports.
