Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor at Osborn Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. The role oversees daily lab operations across Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, Processing, Phlebotomy and Microbiology during day shifts.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, quality control, instrument maintenance, and compliance with OSHA policies. Requires AS in Medical Lab Tech and 3+ years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates of Science in Medical Lab Technician required.
• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology preferred.
• 3 years related experience required; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily laboratory operations, including work schedules and assignments.
• Receives and allocates specimens for testing and oversees quality control.
• Maintains instrument troubleshooting and preventative maintenance per policy.
• Monitors OSHA and department safety policies and staff compliance.
• Participates in staff interviews, evaluations, and performance coaching.
• Supports education of students and orientation of new employees.
