Job summary

HonorHealth’s Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform a full range of laboratory testing and analysis in LAB Core. This role supports supervision under leadership and upholds quality control and regulatory standards.

Day shift, 6:00 am–2:30 pm, with responsibilities including instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and inventory management. Blood Bank experience is strongly preferred and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team is

Qualifications

• Associates in medical technology, clinical laboratory, chemical, physical or biological science Required or
• Bachelors in medical technology, clinical laboratory, chemical, physical or biological science Required or
• HEW certificate with 4 years' experience in lieu of degree. Required
• Masters in medical technology, clinical laboratory, chemical, physical or biological science Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs and monitors a full range of laboratory testing and analysis.
• Assists with supervision of laboratory operations.
• Assumes responsibility for problem resolution, quality control, and required equipment maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Perform instrument maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting and maintain appropriate inventory of supplies.
• Assists with supervision of laboratory operations. Performs all delegated functions as defined by leadership.
