Job summary

Avera St Luke's Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Services Supervisor to plan, coordinate and supervise the department under leadership. You will ensure the effective use of personnel, equipment and materials to deliver timely, quality clinical lab results.

Collaborate with pathologists, outreach clients and hospital staff to assure quality services, maintain compliance with CMS/Joint Commission standards, and mentor a team through hiring, training and performance management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or MLS credentials required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with supervisory duties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate laboratory resources and staff to ensure quality service.
• Collaborate with pathologists and outreach clients to maintain quality.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and cost-effectiveness.
