Responsibilities

• Supervises, coaches, and reviews the performance of laboratory personnel to ensure adherence to policies and ethics.
• Oversees day-to-day laboratory operations and personnel decisions.
• Analyzes and interprets laboratory results according to established work processes.
• Administers laboratory inventories of supplies, equipment and consumables.
• Selects test methodologies appropriate for clinical use of results.
• Verifies test procedures and establishes test performance characteristics (precision and accuracy).
