Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in chemical physical, biological or clinical laboratory science is required.
• An associate degree with two years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.

We are seeking a Lab Services Supervisor - Dermatopathology to:

• Oversee day to day operations of the Dermatopathology lab as well as two Mohs labs.
• Maintain relationships with clinical leadership to help guide staffing allocation.
• Recruit and develop staff in Dermatopathology and ensure adequate staffing throughout the labs.
• As a working supervisor it will be necessary to perform benchwork as needed.

Qualifications

• American Society for Clinical Pathology registered as Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Technician, Cytotechnologist, Specialist in Cytotechnology, Histotechnician, Histotechnologist, Technologist in Blood Bank, Specialist in Blood Bank, Phlebotomist, Diplomate in Laboratory Management, or certification appropriate for Clinical Lab department(s) managed.
