University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority is seeking a Lab Services Supervisor - Dermatopathology to oversee day-to-day operations in the Dermatopathology lab and two Mohs labs, coordinating with clinical leadership on staffing. Responsibilities include recruiting and developing staff, ensuring adequate staffing, and performing benchwork as needed as a working supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in chemical physical, biological or clinical laboratory science is required.
• An associate degree with two years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Dermatopathology lab and two Mohs labs.
• Maintain relationships with clinical leadership to help guide staffing allocation.
• Recruit and develop staff in Dermatopathology and ensure adequate staffing.
• Perform benchwork as needed as a working supervisor.
• Promote UW Health values in interactions with employees.
