Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Lab Services Supervisor – Dermatopathology to oversee day-to-day operations across the Dermatopathology and two Mohs labs, ensuring smooth workflow.

You will recruit and develop staff, maintain strong relationships with clinical leadership for staffing, and contribute hands-on benchwork as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science required.
• Associate degree with two years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day operations of the Dermatopathology lab as well as two Mohs labs.
• Maintain relationships with clinical leadership to help guide staffing allocation.
• Recruit and develop staff in Dermatopathology and ensure adequate staffing throughout the labs.
• As a working supervisor it will be necessary to perform benchwork as needed.
• Promote the UW health way in interactions with employees.
