Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Lab Services Supervisor - Dermatopathology to oversee daily operations of the dermatopathology lab and two Mohs labs. The role involves staffing coordination, staff development, and occasional benchwork as a working supervisor.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in laboratory science or an Associate's with relevant experience. Leadership experience is preferred and duties emphasize collaboration with clinical leadership and maintaining high-quality lab services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or
• Associate degree with two years of relevant lab experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Dermatopathology lab and two Mohs labs.
• Maintain relationships with clinical leadership to guide staffing allocation.
• Recruit and develop staff in Dermatopathology and ensure adequate staffing.
• As a working supervisor, perform benchwork as needed.
• Promote the UW Health way in interactions with employees.
