Job summary

Alnylam Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Lab Operations Associate to support the Sample Management group in receiving and storing clinical and nonclinical samples. This role requires strong organization to meet deadlines and coordination with stakeholders in a fast-paced lab.

Responsibilities include processing new samples into the archive in LIMS, coordinating shipments, and maintaining SOPs and inventory for nonclinical and clinical materials, with onsite work primarily in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a scientific field required.
3–5 years of industry/lab experience preferred.
Experience with LIMS applications preferred.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Smartsheet, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end sample tracking and logistics.
Perform sample management and archive tasks using a LIMS.
Document shipment discrepancies and assist with inventory auditing.
Coordinate international and domestic shipments with Trade Compliance & Logistics.
Maintain SOPs and inventory of laboratory consumables.
