Qualifications

• Two years of experience in healthcare billing or related field.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding, and laboratory billing processes.
• Experience with electronic health records or laboratory information systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews laboratory charges and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitors charge capture and billing work queues; resolves routine edits and exceptions.
• Identifies missing or incorrect charges and coordinates corrections.
• Resolves billing discrepancies with appropriate teams; performs audits and reports trends.
• Prepares and reconciles reference laboratory invoices and outreach client invoices.
• Supports compliance, policies and lean process improvements in billing workflows.
