Job summary

SGS North America Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage laboratory projects and client interactions. You will prepare samples, set up equipment, run tests under supervision, and analyze results while developing opportunities to contribute to SGS's commercial strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant science field or equivalent education/experience.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently under general supervision.
• Ability to follow procedures and meet timelines.
• Ability to read and understand test procedures, safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to write professional, scientific reports and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate execution of SGS testing with local labs and affiliates.
• Prepare specimens and readied equipment for testing.
• Perform tests and analyze results per specified methodologies.
• Track job folders, review tickets, and monitor invoicing.
• Support lab operations and assist in calibration/ISO activities.
• Communicate with clients regarding timing and issues encountered.
