Job summary

SGS is seeking a Project Coordinator to coordinate projects, laboratory operations, and act as the primary liaison between operations and clients. You will prepare test samples, ready equipment, perform tests under supervision, and help develop test methods.

Initially focused on operations and client support, the role also offers growth into business development, with opportunities to build client relationships and contribute to the company's commercial strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant SBU scientific field or equivalent education/experience.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate execution of SGS testing and other services with local labs and global affiliates.
• Perform job ticket review and monitor closing and invoicing of folders.
• Maintain tracking spreadsheets and email correspondence.
• Coordinate projects and perform data collection.
• Provide support to staff, including training where appropriate.
• Assist in calibration scheduling and ISO 17025 activities.
• Prepare specimens and run tests following standard procedures.
