Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Support Services Team Lead for the Dublin, OH area. The role supports the Micro Processing department with shift-based hours (Tue–Sat, 11:00pm–7:30am) and includes overtime as needed. The team leads daily operations, guides staff, and ensures quality and efficiency in specimen processing.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 3+ years in a relevant lab or healthcare setting, with strong computer skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 or more years of experience in a laboratory, healthcare, manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the Micro Processing department.
• Lead the team in daily processes and procedures.
• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Oversee routing of specimens to prep areas.
• Encourage process improvements and best practices.
• Perform quality assurance checks for efficiency and accuracy.
• Resolve production errors with management escalation.
• Research and resolve production issues.
• Engage in continuous process and service level improvements.
• Enforce and manage policies and procedures.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
