Labcorp is seeking a Support Services Team Leader to join our team in Dublin, OH. The role involves supervising day-to-day operations, guiding the team through processes, and ensuring accurate specimen preparation for analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 3+ years in a lab/healthcare/manufacturing/warehouse setting, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Overtime or alternate shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a laboratory, healthcare, manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision of day-to-day operations of the department.
• Lead the team in daily processes and procedures.
• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Oversee routing of specimens to prep areas.
• Encourage process improvements and best practices.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Resolve production errors as requested by management.
• Research and resolve production errors and escalate when necessary.
• Engage in continuous process and service level improvements.
• Enforce and manage policies and procedures.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
