Qualifications

• Knowledge of payer requirements for referrals and pre-authorization.
• Knowledge of computerized billing system.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of FPI and its practices, including payer contracts, policies and best practices.
• Manages provider schedules and schedules appointments accurately and effectively.
• Handles cash collection and patient encounter posting in GE Front Desk Credit Card Module.
• Understands revenue cycle related to patient encounters and information verification for payment.
• Promotes positive guest relations and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Confirms all written orders on the requisition match the specimen label.
