IDEXX is seeking an Operations Supervisor for our Glen Burnie, MD laboratory. You will coach and develop a team of Laboratory Technicians while staying connected to hands‑on work to maintain credibility and attention to detail.

You will lead with professionalism, build a trusted culture, manage staffing, workflow, and metrics, and address bottlenecks daily. This full‑time role offers excellent day‑one benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• You’ve directly supervised, led, or mentored a team (5+ people) in a fast-paced or high-volume environment — in any industry.
• You communicate clearly, give and receive feedback well, and handle difficult conversations with composure and respect.
• You lead by example: reliable, accountable, and consistent, even under pressure.
• You genuinely enjoy developing people and take pride in their growth and success.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Laboratory Technicians and develop their skills and careers.
• Build a positive, high‑performing team culture based on trust, accountability, and teamwork.
• Manage the business of the lab: staffing, scheduling, workflow, inventory and performance metrics.
• Solve workflow bottlenecks and turnaround-time challenges and adapt as conditions change.
• Spend about 40% of time on the bench supporting workflow and facilitation on the lab floor.
