Flagship Pioneering is seeking a highly organized Laboratory Operations Associate to support sample management, inventory, and day-to-day lab operations for the CMC and broader team in Cambridge, MA. You will work closely with scientists and operations leadership to build efficient systems and coordinate equipment and materials.

Formación

• BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in laboratory operations or sample management.
• Hands-on bench experience at the Research Associate or Associate Scientist level.
• Experience in sample management and/or laboratory operations (experience in both is a plus).
• Hands-on experience with cytometers, Fragment Analyzers, and chromatography instruments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with scientists and operations leadership.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Candidates with sample management experience who are looking to grow into a lab management role are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with Benchling, specifically Workflows and Inventory is desirable.
• Experience with other LIMS or inventory systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain sample management and inventory system with CMC team.
• Organize final cargo and coordinate handoffs across teams.
• Provide updates on cargo inventory to leadership.
• Procure key enzymes, buffers and other consumables.
• Run decontamination and cleaning protocols on Fragment Analyzers and flow cytometers weekly.
• Support lab space optimization and onboarding of new lab members.
• Troubleshoot equipment and support routine upkeep.
• Ensure safe and efficient lab operations.
