Job summary

LabConnect is seeking a Clinical Sample Specialist to manage sample receipt, labeling, storage, and safe transport within a compliant laboratory environment. You will liaise with CS, STS, and CTM to ensure timely handling and accurate documentation of samples.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office and LIMS. Candidates should have a relevant lab or health-science background and an associate degree with experience, or a BA/BS in a related field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BA/BS in lab/health science or business; or assoc. degree with 2+ years relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle sample receipt, labeling, and storage.
• Coordinate shipments and inbound tracking.
• Perform QC checks and escalate as needed.
• Maintain GDP and safety practices.
• Respond to emails promptly and complete daily checklists.
