Job summary

RevBio, Inc. seeks a Laboratory Manager to organize laboratory workspaces, manage inventory and equipment maintenance, and support QMS and SOPs. You will collaborate with EHS, R&D, and maintenance teams to meet deadlines across multiple projects.

The role emphasizes strong time management, cross-functional teamwork, and a proactive approach to improving procedures and efficiency in a growing biotech environment.

Qualifications

  • Education beyond high school in biotechnology, engineering, biology, or biochemistry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Ability to learn new software systems as needed.
  • Prior knowledge of working with ERP software systems preferred.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit purchase requisitions for laboratory supplies and equipment.
  • Physically receive, visually inspect, and record the receipt of purchased items in the ERP system.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure its availability.
  • Regularly conduct inventory audits and reconciliations.
  • Schedule the maintenance, repair, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Manage the shipment of supplies and equipment to research partners.
  • Coordinate and oversee the movement and disposition of rejected inventory (MRB).
  • Process product returns.
  • Assist in preparing and conducting laboratory-based research projects with engineers.
  • Maintain clean and organized laboratory spaces and sanitize surfaces.
  • Manage and track biohazardous and chemical waste.
  • Review and support development of SOPs.
  • Assist in external audits and other admin tasks.
