Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States is seeking a Test Operations Manager to provide dedicated operational leadership across ETC's physical test labs. The role is the single point of accountability for lab operations, overseeing calibration technicians, a lab administrator, and lab coordinators, and owning the master test schedule across sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations, lab, or facility management in aerospace, defense, or physical testing.
• Directly managed technicians, coordinators, or similar teams.
• Experience scheduling across shared resources with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of lab operations, calibration requirements, and equipment maintenance.
• Experience creating SOPs and process documentation.
• Strong analytical skills to track operational metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-team interfaces.
• Ability to work independently and drive results with minimal oversight.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and quality standards.
• U.S. Person status per ITAR; knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage calibration technicians, lab administrator, and lab coordinators.
• Develop staffing plans to support lab utilization across test domains.
• Support scaling of the physical footprint and new lab standups across sites.
• Own the master lab schedule for multi-building operations and data systems.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and balance program priorities.
• Drive equipment utilization to 75% across assets.
• Define and report operational metrics like utilization and downtime.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration status, and readiness.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with external vendors for repairs and installations.
• Maintain asset inventory and lifecycle records.
• Develop and enforce lab SOPs, safety protocols, and PPE handling.
• Partner with EHS for safety certifications and audit readiness.
• Serve as primary contact for program teams requesting lab time.
• Provide status reporting to senior leadership on capacity and risks.
• Coordinate procurement of consumables and capital equipment.
• Lead layout planning for labs with facilities engineering.
• Manage workflows in JIRA for maintenance, calibration, and scheduling.
