Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Test Operations Manager to lead ETC's physical test laboratories across multiple sites. You will chair a team of calibration technicians, a lab administrator, and coordinators, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations while optimizing facility access for programs.

You will own the master lab schedule, drive maintenance and calibration programs, coordinate with vendors, and report metrics to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operations or lab management in aerospace/defense.
• Directly managed technical teams including technicians or coordinators.
• Experience scheduling shared resources with competing stakeholders.
• Knowledge of lab operations, calibration, and maintenance.
• Experience creating SOPs and process documentation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• U.S. Person per ITAR (US citizen/principal)

Responsibilities

• Directly manage calibration technicians, a lab administrator, and lab coordinators.
• Develop staffing plans for current and projected lab utilization.
• Support scaling of ETC's physical footprint and new test facility standup.
• Own master lab schedule across facilities and equipment.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts between program priorities.
• Drive toward 75% equipment utilization across all test assets.
• Define and report operational metrics including utilization, schedule adherence, downtime, backlog.
• Oversee maintenance and calibration status of lab assets across the enterprise.
• Coordinate with external vendors for repair, calibration services, and new equipment installation.
• Maintain asset inventory and lifecycle records.
• Develop, document, and enforce SOPs for lab operations, scheduling, and equipment use.
• Ensure safety protocols and PPE compliance across test environments.
• Partner with EHS for safety certifications and audit readiness.
• Serve as primary point of contact for lab time requests and calibration services.
• Provide regular status reporting to senior leadership on lab operations, capacity, and risks.
• Coordinate procurement for lab consumables and spare parts.
• Lead programmatic layout planning for labs coordinating with facilities engineering to support test capabilities.
• Manage lab operations workflows through JIRA for maintenance, calibration, and scheduling tasks.
