Job summary

Bristol-Myers Squibb Co in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Manager, Lab Planning & Execution to lead day-to-day lab operations across Translational Medicine in Lawrenceville, NJ and Cambridge, MA. This hands-on leadership role manages Lab Operations, capital planning, instrument maintenance, and compliance to keep labs audit-ready and aligned with program timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 6–8 years of lab operations experience with leadership experience in GLP/CLIA environments.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating across multiple functions.
• Hands-on ability to lead day-to-day lab operations for designated regulated labs while managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Lab Operations professionals across IHC, Molecular, Flow Cytometry, Imaging, and Bioanalysis labs.
• Oversee capital equipment planning, budget inputs, and interface with Capital Management.
• Manage instrument/asset fleet, calibration, service contracts, and vendor coordination.
• Ensure CLIA/CAP and GxP inspection readiness with proper documentation and records.
• Lead site planning, laboratory moves, space planning, and facility collaboration.
• Provide project management support for Bioanalysis programs as required.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop Lab Operations staff and contractors.
