Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in a biological and/or chemical laboratory.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation.
• Experience in EH, occupational health, safety, chemistry, biology, physics, or environmental engineering.
• Experience preparing written reports detailing test results.
• Self-motivated and flexible in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Able to obtain a Secret level security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple laboratories (BSL2/BSL2+, chemical, health engineering).
• Organize equipment maintenance and service contracts.
• Support general procurement needs.
• Coordinate with environmental health and safety to ensure best safety practices.
• Develop procedures to optimize laboratory functions for multi-disciplinary work.
• Promote a safety-focused culture.
