Job summary

Waséyabek Federal Services, LLC (WFS) in Batavia, IL is seeking a Space Management Specialist to design, implement, and maintain a centralized space utilization database across laboratories, offices, and shared workspaces. This onsite role supports the client’s leadership with accurate data and strategic real estate planning.

The incumbent will manage IWMS data, conduct audits, and produce reports for executive decision-making, ensuring 98%+ data accuracy and compliant workspace allocations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Architecture, Operations Management, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 3–7 years of progressive experience in facility management, space planning, or property administration.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of a highly technical, scientific organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a centralized, highly accurate Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) database across office, lab, and collaborative workspaces.
• Conduct regular space audits and surveys to monitor utilization, constraints, and departmental needs.
• Generate actionable reports and spatial analytics to inform executive leadership on long-term facility planning.
