Job summary

Hospital for Special Surgery seeks a Facilities Planner I to support enterprise space management, regional growth, and campus transformation. You will manage space data, IWMS modules, and moves while collaborating with HR, IT, and external vendors to implement new workplace strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in Architecture, Business, Healthcare, or related field.
2–5 years of space planning and healthcare workplace experience.
Strong communications and multi-project management skills.

Responsibilities

Manage the HSS Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS).
Maintain up to date floor plans and space assignments.
Provide support in coordinating and managing reservation activities.
Assist in the creation of framework for a formal space committee.
Oversee the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of physical signage across the organization.
Coordinate with leadership to implement new workplace strategies and develop space allocation plans utilizing workspace data.
Liaising with departmental managers to determine space requirements.
Assist in the development of signage guidelines and manage external vendors.
