Qualifications

• Experience with material packing/handling, inventory management, or warehousing preferred.
• LEAN or Operational Excellence training is a plus.
• Strong collaboration, time management, and customer service skills.

• Clear communication and interpersonal abilities; safety oriented.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management and Lab staff to meet operational goals while upholding safety and quality.
• Adhere to GLP, DOT, HazMat and other regulatory standards.
• Maintain inventory for lab consumables, reagents, chemicals, and glassware.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure reagents, equipment, and resources are available.
• Prevent delays by minimizing warehouse interruptions and ensuring timely shipments.
• Handle materials with proper storage, handling, and temperature requirements.
• Prepare receiving and shipping documents; ensure paperwork accuracy.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and support daily activities.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in training and safety awareness.
• Engage in cross-functional training within Materials Operations as needed.
• Identify process improvements for warehouse functions, equipment, or procedures.
• Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and in person.
• Attend departmental meetings and communicate progress and issues.
