Job summary

Labcorp in Raritan, NJ is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to manage reagent inventory, replenish bench supplies, and handle specimen processing. The role requires accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain records, assist with storage criteria, and support lab operations while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This position offers weekday hours with overtime flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months+ experience with lab reagents.
• 3 months+ medical or laboratory experience.
• Comfortability with handling biological specimens.
• Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Ordering test bench supply replenishment.
• Identifying old/new lots of reagents and calibrators for department.
• Documents and maintains records of all reagent/calibrator inventory.
• Follow appropriate storage criteria for reagents.
• Disinfect bench area and document as required.
• Complete and track Iron Mountain boxes.
• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information.
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance.
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues.
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested.
