Job summary

Labcorp seeks an Inventory Coordinator for our site in Raritan, NJ. The role supports test bench supply replenishment, specimen preparation and data entry, ensuring accurate inventory and compliance with storage criteria.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 3 months of lab reagents or medical/lab experience; strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 months or more of experience working with lab reagents.
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Ordering test bench supply replenishment
• Identifying old/new lots of reagents and calibrators for department
• Documents and maintains records of all reagent/calibrator inventory
• Follow appropriate storage criteria for reagents
• Disinfect bench area and document as required
• Complete and track Iron Mountain boxes
• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested

Labcorp is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our team in Raritan, NJ.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8am-4:30pm)

Job Responsibilities

• Ordering test bench supply replenishment
• Identifying old/new lots of reagents and calibrators for department
• Documents and maintains records of all reagent/calibrator inventory
• Follow appropriate storage criteria for reagents

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around times
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs

Pay Range

$18.25-$22/hr.

• Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
• Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
• Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
