Job summary

System One, Rockville, MD, is seeking an Inventory Coordinator for a 6-month contract on onsite. The role runs Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week, with a pay rate of $30.00–$35.00 per hour.

The position combines hands-on stockroom work with administrative tasks to keep materials, supplies, and equipment services organized and running smoothly. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma (associates or bachelor’s preferred), inventory/stockroom experience, proficiency in Excel, and strong

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required (Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus).
• Experience with inventory, stockroom operations, receiving, materials handling, warehouse support.
• Comfortable using Excel to track inventory, update logs, and perform reconciliations.
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with hands-on materials support plus computer/administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, organize, and distribute incoming materials and packages
• Maintain stockrooms and inventory levels, including cycle counts and reconciliations
• Order and track laboratory supplies and materials, including lot number tracking
• Monitor and maintain gas inventories
• Work directly with vendors to coordinate equipment maintenance, calibration, and repairs
• Track equipment service agreements and maintain related documentation
