Job summary
Labcorp is seeking a Lab Intern in Birmingham, AL to shadow laboratory professionals, learn diagnostic workflows, and assist with specimen organization and inventory. You will participate in mock testing under supervision and support approved laboratory projects while following safety procedures.

Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Bachelor’s degree program.
Responsibilities
- Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations
- Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation
- Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision
- Support approved laboratory projects
- Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures
