Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Intern to join our team in San Antonio, TX, for a 11-week full-time internship. You will shadow laboratory professionals, learn diagnostic workflows, and assist with routine tasks including specimen organization and inventory management.

The program offers in-person experience, exposure to senior leaders, and opportunities to engage with multiple business functions while developing foundational skills in laboratory science and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Bachelor’s degree program.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures.
• Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and concepts.

Responsibilities

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations
• Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision
• Support approved laboratory projects
• Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures
