Ideal candidates are rising juniors or seniors in chemical/biological/clinical laboratory science or medical technology programs; strong attention to detail and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Demonstrate attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures
• Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts
• Show initiative and ability to work independently under general supervision
• Maintain professionalism, including punctuality and conduct

Responsibilities

• Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations
• Assist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation
• Participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision
• Support approved laboratory projects
• Follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures

Education

Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Bachelor’s degree program
