Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Instrument & Electric Technician in Pennington, NJ. You will calibrate, maintain, and perform minor repairs on scientific instrumentation in controlled environments as part of the Critical and Technical Services function.

Role involves following ISO 9001/GMP concepts, using test equipment, and coordinating with contractors. Strong documentation and CMMS usage are required, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or trade diploma with 4 years related experience.
• Knowledge of cGMP and global regulatory manufacturing guidance.
• Laboratory/manufacturing experience with GLP or GMP; knowledge of USDA/EU regulatory systems.
• GDP and Cleanroom experience preferred.
• Experience using CMMS system.
• Must meet physical requirements and safety standards.
• Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Take apart, examine, clean, fix, calibrate, check, and maintain equipment and controls.
• Operate test equipment such as multimeters and probes.
• Coordinate basic repairs during scheduled maintenance.
• Record abnormal conditions and report findings.
• Source parts and estimate repair costs.
• Document daily maintenance records and inspections.
• Coordinate with external contractors for maintenance agreements.
