Job summary

Keysight Technologies SAles Spain SL. is seeking a Lab Support Engineer to support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and infrastructure needs of R&D engineering laboratories.

The role ensures that laboratory environments and equipment remain operational, reliable, and available for development and testing activities. This position collaborates with R&D teams, IT, hardware, and external partners to design, monitor, and maintain lab resources, including lab organization, power distribution,

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting computer networking equipment and lab environments in R&D
• Familiar with IT infrastructure, servers, and lab computing environments
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
• On-site presence required every weekday, except national holidays

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, configure, and deploy networking and computing equipment in R&D labs
• Coordinate IT network connectivity, switches, cabling, and IP addressing for labs
• Manage RMA activities, troubleshooting, shipping, and replacement of defective equipment
• Coordinate with Facilities and HVAC to maintain lab environmental conditions and power
• Monitor and troubleshoot lab infrastructure and coordinate resolutions
• Maintain inventory and documentation of equipment, connections, and rack configurations
• Assist with rack installation, cabling, power requirements, and moves
• Support developers during new deployments, lab expansions, and equipment refresh
• Communicate status, issues, risks, and timelines to stakeholders
• Follow safety, IT, and lab procedures and improve reliability
