Job summary

Keysight Technologies Inc. is seeking a Lab Support Engineer to maintain and operate R&D laboratory infrastructure. The role collaborates with IT, hardware, and engineering teams to ensure lab environments remain available and reliable for development and testing.

Responsibilities include deploying networking gear, coordinating with facilities for HVAC and power, and maintaining equipment inventories. On-site work is required five days a week with potential holiday considerations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting computer networking equipment and lab environments in an R&D setting.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• On-site presence required every weekday, except holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, relocation, configuration, connectivity, and deployment of networking and computing equipment in R&D labs.
• Coordinate IT network connectivity, switches, cabling, IP addressing, and access with IT.
• Manage hardware RMA processes including troubleshooting, shipment, and replacement.
• Coordinate with Facilities and HVAC to ensure lab environmental conditions meet equipment needs.
• Maintain inventory and documentation of lab equipment and rack configurations.
• Assist with rack installation, cabling, power requirements, moves, and lab reconfiguration.
