Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Lab Diagnostic Sales Specialist based in the Mid-Atlantic region, ideally residing in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on selling capital equipment for chemistry, immunology, histology, microbiology, hematology, and molecular diagnostics in clinical laboratories.

You will manage lead generation, financial modeling, and collaborate with manufacturer partners to close system sales while maintaining relationships and a strong pipeline across the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience preferred.
• Sales experience in laboratory industry, selling capital equipment to hospitals and labs is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of laboratory workflow and processes.
• Experience in complex sales environments with proven success.
• Strong negotiation, planning and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and valid driver's license in the 50 states.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new sales opportunities and develop plans with manufacturers and Lab Product Representatives.
• Maintain a robust pipeline across the diagnostic instrumentation portfolio.
• Lead end-to-end sales process for capital equipment in clinical labs.
• Provide competitive differentiation and technical insight to customers.
• Support customers with pre- and post-analysis reviews and solution demonstrations.
