Job summary

ABB Optical Group is seeking a Lab Technician to process products efficiently and accurately in the lab. The role includes data entry, order coordination, and billing support in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least six months of optical manufacturing experience. Training is provided, and there are opportunities for cross-training and advancement within the lab.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Entry-level with training provided.
• Minimum six months of optical manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Input lists, records and other data into Absolution software program.
• Coordinates correspondence of orders, invoices and records to ensure accuracy in prescription billing.
• Communicate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate production.
• Process invoicing and credits as required for customers.
• Effectively troubleshoot and provide resolution support customer service issues in a timely fashion.
• Work safely and quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Cross train in additional areas around the lab.
