Job summary

ABB Optical Group is seeking an Optical Lab Technician for a Monday–Friday 10am–7pm shift to support our manufacturing lab. The role focuses on precise measurement, sorting, and processing of frames and lenses, with duties spanning from tracing and ticketing to lens edging and tinting.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with training provided for the essential functions. Overtime may be required to meet production needs, and safety guidelines must be followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required for full-time.
• Entry-level; training provided to enable minimum essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Measure and sort frames using a tracing machine, print and match paperwork to trays.
• Invoice and package finished jobs, scan and bin into correct customer boxes.
• Inspect lenses and frames, mount and align lenses in frames with precision tools.
• Operate finishing equipment and AR coating machines, maintain tools and report defects.
• Follow safety guidelines and meet production targets; participate in team meetings.
