Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required, or combination of education and relevant work experience.
• 3–5 years of related lab experience, including specimen processing and workflow management.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience.
• Experience in a multi-site healthcare environment preferred.
• Excellent venipuncture skills and strong verbal/written communication.
• Proficient with LIS and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of Laboratory Assistants and specimen collection personnel.
• Coordinate staffing schedules across laboratory locations.
• Monitor productivity, staffing levels, and workflow to meet patient demand.
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, and training for staff.
• Lead staff huddles and communicate updates and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA and CAP regulations.
