Qualifications

• Post-high school education (Associate degree in business, Secretarial Science, etc)
• Previous phlebotomy experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all patients presenting to the laboratory for blood draws and organize clerical administrative duties including answering the phone to coordinate referrals and results between outpatient referring offices
• Assist in maintaining efficient patient workflow and ensure accurate diagnostic coding for Medical Necessity Determination and billing
• Maintain department records and supplies, communicate with staff, patients, and providers to ensure a positive patient experience

Education
