Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Idaho is seeking a Client Technical Service Rep to support our Treasure Valley Lab Centers. This is a full-time day shift, Monday through Friday, leveraging your phlebotomy and lab tech experience to deliver excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma is required. Associate degree in medical technology preferred.
• Experience: At least three years of related experience.
• Understanding of laboratory operations, terminology, methodology and logistics in both anatomic and the clinical laboratories preferred.
• Knowledge of medical insurance billing procedures and requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed technical support for hospital outreach-based clients and also act as a resource to other laboratory support staff.
• Assists with highly technical questions, provides support material for esoteric testing, and confers with the laboratory staff to find specific answers to questions.
• Maintains service excellence by liaising between the Laboratory and all existing outreach customers, solving problems and maintaining relationships.
• Depending on the site may be responsible for ensuring area personnel are properly trained, including assessing competency levels.
