Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field through a CLIA-approved program.
• MLS Certification or ASCP eligibility required.
• Externship completion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs analytical tests on specimens in compliance with lab procedures.
• Assesses specimen suitability by visual checks and recognizing abnormal results.
• Identifies factors affecting measurements and acts per protocols.
• Performs quality control and ensures results meet established ranges.
• Maintains a safe, clean work area and monitors equipment and temperatures.
• Other duties as assigned.
