• Phlebotomy skills and basic patient care are required.
• Experience in medical terminology and computer-based records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform admission interviews at Outreach Centers or via client information at specimen collection.
• Ensure Medicare, insurance and managed care requirements before registration.
• Respond to patient inquiries and obtain blood specimens per procedures.
• Conduct urine collection and processing; perform ECG and INR QC testing as needed.
• Assist in laboratory areas and maintain knowledge of insurance regulations.
