Job summary

Norman Regional is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist to join the Laboratory team in Norman, OK. The role involves performing specimen collection, patient interviews, and ensuring compliance with Medicare and insurance requirements.

Candidates should have 3 months of phlebotomy and customer service experience, a High School diploma or GED, and BLS certification. A valid Oklahoma driver’s license with clean MVR is required.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience of 3 months required.
• Minimum 3 months customer service experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Oklahoma driver’s license with clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform admission interviews and collect specimens.
• Obtain blood and other specimens following procedures.
• Support laboratory operations and act as a resource for lab information.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance regulations and Medicare requirements.
