Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to join our Enid, OK team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, and collect specimens for various tests. Accurate data entry, billing support, and maintaining logs are part of daily duties.

Travel to additional sites may be required, with a strong emphasis on customer service. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred candidates have 2+ years phlebotomy experience or applicable LabCorp

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training required if no work experience.
• Ability to pass a color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
