Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program or enrollment in MLT/MLS.
• At least 3 months of full-time clinical phlebotomy experience or related.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to work in a fast-paced setting.
• BLS certification within 90 days of start in clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Obtain biological specimens following SOPs and guidelines.
• Perform phlebotomy at multiple clinic sites with proper technique.
• Handle point-of-care and waived testing as assigned.
• Train others in phlebotomy skills when needed.
• Enter orders into LIS/HIS and communicate results by phone.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols.
