Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a qualified phlebotomist to join our on-site laboratory team. You will perform sample processing, venipunctures, and prepare blood specimens in line with Piedmont policies and applicable regulatory standards.
Preferred candidates hold phlebotomy certification and have working knowledge of clinical laboratory processes, with experience in healthcare or laboratory settings and EKG capability advantageous.

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA ?88), OSHA and the Georgia Department of Community Health and other applicable regulatory, established standards as may be applicable. Performs venipunctures, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.
